Compassion Ministry

The Compassion Ministry demonstrates God's love by providing assistance to individuals and families who find themselves facing hardships.  We may supply furnishings and clothing to families who lose their homes to fires.

The ministry also assists in other areas such as helping families with a gas or electric bill assistance, or having power restored during the short but cold winters, or eviction prevention assistance.

Compassion Ministry is able to help through a small food pantry when needy families have exhausted their food resources for a particular month.

Each year the ministry provides services for:

  • Food pantry recipients
  • Clients needing financial assistance
  • Burn-out victims
  • Other personal support efforts

What good is it, my brothers if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds?  Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food.  If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed." but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?
